Yes, I am already using VNC with the VPN setup, but what I need to do is
keep the NT domain setup, or at least make it's replacement as
transparent as possible and I don't see how that will be possible via VNC.
Basically I am trying to work out how to set it up so that the dumb
terminals boot to a login screen, and then to their own desktop on the
server from which they can run their normal Windows apps. I can't see
how to do that with VNC.
If I can work this out, I can get rid of 30 windows XP desktops, and
save the worry about Virus's and spyware for everything bar the server.
(and it is much easier and cheaper to scan the whole server for those
then to use an enterprise scanning system to do each local machine.)
