Re: snd-bt-sco.ko modprobe success?
Hi,
I had the same mysterious error belonging to snd-hwdep. I got the error
about (don't remember exactly) already while trying to compile the
snd-bt-sco-kernel-module. That's why I couln't load it :-)
But: I found the missing funktion in some sound-card-drivers -
unfortunatly not in mine (snd_intel8x0). So I compiled the
snd-emu10k1.ko (which contains this function) as a module in addition to
my snd_intel8x0.
Now it works!
You don't even have to load the emu10k1 - just compile the module. Some
other sound-card-drivers contain this function, so I think it doesn't
matter which of them you'll chose.
Greetings,
thomas
