The words in the previously mentioned links are "miserable failure", so Google's smart servers automatically associate the two and then the next time someone does a search for "miserable failure" it returns what it saw someone else say was a good result for those terms. Note, however, it takes several webpages doing this before it has the desired effect. Plus, of course, Google has to know about the webpage before it can start searching it...
