add those things to teh local-host-names

/etc/mail/local-host-names ( aka sendmail.cw )
	localhost
	localhost.localdomain
	vuw.ac.xx

restart sendmail

rest of the silly config files
	linux-sec.net/Mail/Sendmail

if you have local firewall, make sure port25 is open
