Strange as I have been using one of these for a while?

        Load "extmod"
        Load "freetype"
        Load "glx"
        Load "int10"
        Load "record"
        Load "speedo"

EndSection

Section "Device"

EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Default Screen"

        Monitor "Samsung 753DFX"
        DefaultDepth 24
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 1
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 4
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 8
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"

                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 16
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Depth 24
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

Section "DRI"
        Mode 0666
EndSection

BTW. I saw this "ghosting" on a Samsung 173V last week, faulty monitor -
in general, I am not impressed with their LCD monitors ...
