Two things come to Mind:
1.) The CD you created is kaput.Happens.
2.) You created the CD with the ISO-Image as Data on it.Happens, too.
To find out just try to create another bootable CD. e.g. ipcop
(ipcop.org) is always nice to have around and its ISO is also of limited
