Re: exim4 in sarge - config issues with smarthost hostname vs IP

I have the exim4 heavy package and:

dc_smarthost='hostname'   <===== works if this is an IP
	fails with a hostname of 'smtp'
	hostname smtp resolves to an IP OK
	
	lookup of host "smtp" failed in smarthost router

grep -r DCsmarthost .

./conf.d/transport/30_exim4-config_remote_smtp:
	hosts_require_auth = DCsmarthost		<= SAME
./conf.d/transport/30_exim4-config_remote_smtp:
	hosts_require_tls = DCsmarthost			<= MISSING
./conf.d/main/01_exim4-config_listmacrosdefs:
	DCsmarthost = DEBCONFsmarthostDEBCONF		<= SAME
./conf.d/router/200_exim4-config_primary:
	route_list = * DCsmarthost			<= SAME
