Dear all,

I'm running unstable, with, AFAIK, the latest versions of all the packages.
After my last update/upgrade (Fri Oct 10) most of my gnome apps refuse to
start. I can't get a gnome-session going; if I run KDE and start a gnome app
from a terminal get the error message:

relocation error: /usr/X11R6/lib/libXft.so.2: undefined symbol:
XRenderCompositeText8

The only references to this which I can find on the web talk about problems
from more that a year ago - is this new?

Please suggest any diagnostics that I could mail to the list.
