Tried that, no avail. Here's the contents of it, btw:

jhughes@jpath:~$ ls .mozilla
appreg  default  fonts  pluginreg.dat  plugins

The version string that mozilla prints:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Debian/1.2.1-9, build 2002122616
