Problems with xawtv on testing/unstable

Hi,

I have Debian unstable+testing, with my own kernel kompiled using make-kpkg (2.4.20). I run XFree86 Version 4.2.1.1 with 'nv' driver. Xawtv gives me this output:

-----
This is xawtv-3.72, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.20timothy)
WARNING: Your X-Server has no DGA support.
WARNING: couldn't find framebuffer base address, try manual
        configuration ("v4l-conf -a <addr>")
ioctl: VIDIOCCAPTURE(on): Nepřípustný argument
ioctl: VIDIOCCAPTURE(off): Nepřípustný argument
-----

So I tried to use suggested "v4l-conf -a <addr>". It should set address of framebuffer of X server. In my /var/log/XFree86.0.log I found line

(--) NV(0): Linear framebuffer at 0xCC000000

But that address could not be set:

timothy:~# v4l-conf -a '0xCC000000'
ioctl VT_GETSTATE: Invalid argument
timothy:~# v4l-conf -a 'CC000000'
ioctl VT_GETSTATE: Invalid argument

Can anyone say what is going wrong? Thanks,

David
