You are using pango compiled with freetype 2.0.9 with freetype 2.1
installed. I am going to guess that you are also using xfree86 4.3. If
this is the case, go to:
http://www.debianplanet.org/node.php?id=992
and read the sections on xfree86 4.3 and recompiling pango. This should
fix several problems and apparently 'random' crashes.
