Why?  The Secret Service was holding back the 20,000 person angry mob
that met him last August on his visit to Portland, Oregon (Oregon has
been pretty thoroughly dicked with by this administration, and the
locals are taking it personally).  That would saved me some trouble on
my way to work that day, and stopped the war.  (I just recently
decided to get rid of the dented helmet that took a glass coke bottle
from over the crowd when I was trying to make my way across that mess
to get to work...)
