rows/columns per page w/ cups?
I am trying to get 132 columns and 66 rows per page printing to an HP
LaserJet 1200 with cups, but I can't figure out for the life of me how
to do it.
I examined the ppd file for the printer, and the only (somewhat)
relevant things I saw were paper size and default font. Do I have to go
trial and error through different fonts until I get one with the right
dimensions?
I know that a2ps has the --columns and --rows options, but I can't get
it to work with my desired cols/rows either, I get:
a2ps: font 0.084979 too big
which makes me think that even if I get cups to attempt to use my
desired settings, that they will die when they hit a2ps.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Mark Roach
