Don't believe so, but it's relatively easy to build a debian package
from the source.  From the main source directory run:

fakeroot debian/rules binary

or just run it as root (omitting 'fakeroot').  You will more than likely
have several false starts while building it, but all of its dependancies
(for debian packaging and mplayer itself) are apt-get'able.  Just look
at the error messages and apt-cache search what is missing.
