It seems that my lightweight editor of choice, ae (Anthony's Editor), is no longer packaged for testing/unstable. Are there any other full-screen editors, preferably actively maintained and with emacs-like key bindings, that install in /bin? I need one for those dire times when I need to boot init=/bin/sh. I could, of course, compile one myself and stick it in /bin. But I prefer something that can be upgraded with Debian's package management tools.
