Re: Need apt-get link to Openoffice 1.0 for Woody; tips for linking postgresql

Anyone have the link (if there is one) for OpenOffice-1.0 for Woody. I
have the Sid link & have it installed and running fine on a "TEST" box.
Now I want to try it on Woody. I believe it is really "ready for
primetime" as far as the features go. i also would appreciate ANY tips
regarding use of OpenOffice with postgresql databases.

The current version of OpenOffice.org from SID runs fine on my Debian Woody install, with the addition of one extra package from SID. This results in a "mostly-Woody" install <grin>. I "think" the extra package needed from SID is libgcc1 (>1:3.1). If you try to install it and you don't have the right version of libgcc1, it will error out with a message to that effect. Once the newer libgcc1 package is installed, then everything installs just fine. There are LOTS of messages to this effect over on Developers/ Debian-OpenOffice mailing list within the past month or so. You might want to visit it for other problems people are having...FYI.

Dunno anything about integration with pstgresql..
