assuming oyur printer is connected to the rh box... and
lets say your /etc/printcap looks something like...
lp|Xerox|Xerox DocuPrint:
:sh:\
:ml=0:\
:mx=0:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/xerox:\
:lp=/dev/lp0:\
:lpd_bounce=true:\
:if=/usr/share/printconf/mf_wrapper:
# or whatever incoming printer filter you are using

:rm=rh:
debian# ping rh -->> must resolve to the redhat box
debian# lpd stop and start it and you're done
debian# lpr -Prh /etc/printcap
c ya
alvin
