Dante server

I'm having some problems configuring the socks server.
My configuration is the following:

inetd.conf:
socks                   stream  tcp     nowait          nobody   /usr/sbin/sockd

sockd.conf:
permit  ALL  0.0.0.0            ALL  0.0.0.0
(testing purposes only!;)

But I keep getting this message in my syslog:
Jun 22 15:51:31 paladin sockd[2964]: error -- unable to get client address.

I've tried replacing "nobody" by "root", but I can't get a
connection neither!

BTW, what do you recommend for a http cache server?
