Hmm, amazing what a
	apt-get update; apt-get install hdparm

can do with you hdparm options :-)
  Now ofcourse I don't have my "swap disk" available so I can't try it
right now :-(

Do you know what the  -x  option do in more detail?  It's not mentioned
in the man page and  hdparm -h  only says:
	 -x   perform device for hotswap flag (0/1) (DANGEROUS)
