Looks like 2.4.18 onwards have it in by default.

Drivers
Note: Don't bother calling Dell Tech Support about these drivers. They can't
help you. Use the mailing lists.

    * aacraid for kernel 2.2.x <link>
    * aacraid for kernel 2.4.1 to 2.4.17-pre6 <link>
    * aacraid is included in kernels 2.4.17-pre7 already.
    * aacraid for kernels 2.5.x work pending by Alan Cox.

and looking at the woody/disks-i386/images-1.44/bf2.4/kernel-config file
looks like CONFIG_SCSI_AACRAID=y, which will make life a bit easier.

So with that one sorted, any other gotchas?
