Java plugin for Mozilla/Galeon

Is there a way to install the plugin locally?  Both Galeon and Mozilla
wants to download it from the original Netscape site.  We have a
mirror on our network, but how do I tell Mozilla/Galeon to use it?

How do I install the downloaded file if I have it on my hard disk?
