I don't see any real problems sharing /boot and /home.

Don't try sharing /usr or /var... It will mess up both Mandrake and
Debian, both of the dists overwriting programs and settings.

In general I would advise against sharing anything :)
(<plug> Why run Mandrake if you have Debian... *grins* </plug>)
