gpm config difficulties
Try as I might I cannot seem to get gpm to configure properly on my box.
I have tried a lot of configurations using the gpmconfig program, and
none of them have worked. gpm is starting and running, with no output
to the syslog, and no cursor on the screen when I move the mouse. I
know the mouse works because I tried it on a win98 box, where it worked
instantly, and without any configuration required. It is a ps2 mouse
from IBM, quite old, but still functional. I also tried a logitech
trackball mouse, which I have used sucessfully with gpm on my other machine under redhat 7 and woody. I don't really know what to do now. I have confirmed that ps2 mouse support is in the kernel. Any ideas?
