Many timesa. I hardly leave X anymore because of it (yes I use xterms :)
Virtually any time X crashes the consoles will no longer be available
after restarting X. Actually they do respond normally, there's just no
usable output. I'm using the latest X from unstable + nvidia drivers.
Restarting X or kdm has no effect whatsover. Switching runlevels doesn't
work either. The only solution is a reboot :(
