network again

--
Hi,

I'm stil working on my network, I managed to compile a new kernel with IP-masqurading in it and continued with trying to get my network running.

I did: ifconfig 192.168.0.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 and then ipmasq.
All looks good, noerrors this time.
I'm able to ping to the windows machine but pinging from the windows machine to Debian did not work.

I like to find out why that is, but its very hard because for some reason I get every minute this on my screen (it's also written in my log):
     > Oct 6 21:46:04 salamander kernel: Packet log: input DENY eth0 PROTO=2 24.132.6.1:65535 224.0.0.1:65535 L=28 S=0xC0 I=61066 F=0x0000 T=1 (#10)

I don't know where it comes from and what it means.
My first idea was that it came from IPCHAINS, but after some reading I found a file /etc/default and in this file IPCHAINS is not enabled (as far as I understand you have to enable it there).

Can anyone give me a hint how to go on?

Thanks,
Hans
