yipes! I'd recommend you instead do this as a user in group staff
(rather than root) and add '-d /usr/local/include' or some such variant
(maybe /usr/local/include/perl) to the h2ph command. That way, you don't
muck up your filesystem, confusing the stuff that you're supposed to
manage (/usr/local) and the stuff you're supposed to manage dpkg to
manage (just about everything else).
