Samba won't start
I have 2 Debian machines with samba installed. On one machine it
works (except for the printers, I'll figure that out later) and on the
other [sn]mbd won't start.
I need to get samba running so a windows machine with a printer can
read a couple files and print them
>From /var/log/smb :

Ok, so something is already using the port ... what is using that port
and why? I don't see anything in netstat -- either on this machine or
the one with samba working.
(from the machine without samba working -- I don't have a console on
it so I use ssh from my other machine, it also serves as a router for
the dial-up connection)

Any help it locating the conflict and resolving it will be greatly
appreciated.
