I tried that and it still gives the same errors.......

Are You using dynamical assignd IP-adresses or static ones ? If You have a
static IP-Address, You have to specify it, when connecting to Your ISP.
Othetwise you have to use ipcp-accept-local and ipcp-accept-remote in Your
ppp-options file.

Why do You have to chnage the modem-speed while connected ? Do You have to
change the modem speed or the serial speed ? The last one can be set also
in
the options file (for example 115200).
