Gnome-session problem
Sometimes when I do startx I get the following error message :
GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 authentication
rejected.
This does not always happen. When it happens, I do Alt-Ctrl-Bksp and
startx again and then it usually works.
I work on Slink and I did use apt-get to update my gnome packages from
http://www.debian.org/~jim/debian-gtk-gnome.old/gnome-stage-slink slink main
What is causing this and how can I correct this strange behaviour?
Johann
