I have downloaded and extracted the 2.1.104 kernel into /usr/src/linux. I want to create a kernel and test it (primarily for raidtools). Should I link the headers as described in the README that came with the kernel or is there preferred way to handle them under debian? I plan to use make-kpkg. Is there anything else I should do?
