Big Fat Thank You !! - Cannot run executables issue

Hello:

Sometimes we may get so caught up with the thrill of finding a solution
from this list that we may forget to say 'Thank you!

TO all those who responded to my problem of not able to execute any
files, I thank you!! Makes me feel great about Debian and Linux.
Every answer was the same..

I did not have a "." in my PATH..
