I get the same problem when using a Linksys EtherPCILAN Card II,
using the ne.o driver.  I do not get it on the same system when using
a 3com 3c595 using the 3c59x driver or a ne2100 compatible using the
lance driver.  I don't know whether it's worth the effort to try to
get help from Lynksys or if I should just take the card back for a
refund.
