PCL printer cannot be accessed
Two questions:
1. If I used dvihp to generate a PCL file, can I then
go to a DOS shell in Win95 and say:
c:> copy PCL.file LPT1
I tried this, but first page was very messed up.
2. I tried:
# dvihp -Plp1 text.dvi
But got some "connection refused" message.
Ditto for the 'lpq' command.
I have added me & root to the "lp" group
in /etc/group, and ran "newgrp lp", so
group permissions I don't think is hte problem.
Regards,
Charlie
