What trouble with GMT? What is the problem?

If you do not like GMT change the entry in '/etc/init.d/boot' file. See
line

# Set GMT="-u" if your system clock is set to GMT, and GMT="" if not.
GMT=""

change the variable above and then set your clock to local time. I hope
this will help you. You do not need to reinstall anything.
