You need to mention the machines and/or subnets you want to export to
!
/mnt mymachine.mydomain.whatever (ro,insecure,no_root_squash)
Don't forget to:
/etc/init.d/netstd_nfs stop
/etc/init.d/netstd_nfs start
after changing the /etc/exports file.
