I am using a 3c900-COMBO with a coax connection without problems.
One thing to watch out for is that if the PCI bus assigns this card
to the same IRQ as another, it does not seem to work. Also some
have had to disable busmaster transmit on the 3c905 cards. I have
heard on one person who had to disable busmaster xmit on the 3c900.
Drivers from about v0.30 up have worked for me. I am using kernel
2.0.27. Seems like I heard of someone who had trouble with the 2.0.30
kernel, but not with 2.0.29.
