Unfortunately the 1.2.13 kernel doesn't support the Adaptec 2940 card and
unfortunately you'll have to compile your own with a patch.  I obtained a
patch for it and ran it over 1.2.13 (it gave an error in patching the
Makefile, so I did it manually - no problems) if you want it, reply back to
me and I'll email you it.

Again, I had the problem that I couldnt use 1.2.13 because it wouldn't detect
my 2940.  I got around this my asking a friend to compile one for me and
made a boot disk so that I could boot and compile my own.
