Opción "--fetchall" de Fetchmail

Hola,

Me gustaría saber si es posible configurar de manera global (para todas 
las cuentas, en lugar de ir poniendo este valor en cada una de las 
definidas) esta opción de Fetchmail y en caso afirmativo, dónde se 
debería definir esta variable/parámetro.

En el manual dice:

Disposal Options

-a | --all | (since v6.3.3) --fetchall

(Keyword: fetchall, since v3.0) Retrieve both old (seen) and new mes‐
sages from the mailserver.  The default is to fetch only messages the
server has not marked seen.  Under POP3, this option also forces  the
use  of  RETR  rather  than TOP.  Note that POP2 retrieval behaves as
though --all is always on (see RETRIEVAL  FAILURE  MODES  below)  and
this  option does not work with ETRN or ODMR.  While the -a and --all
command-line and fetchall rcfile options have been  supported  for  a
long time, the --fetchall command-line option was added in v6.3.3.

Pero no me queda claro si...

1/ Hay que añadirlo como opción a pasar al daemon en /etc/default/
fetchmail (OPTIONS=-a) 

2/ Se puede definir en el archivo de configuración en la sección global 
"set --fetchall" 

3/ Sencillamente no se puede configurar este parámetro de manera global y 
hay que ir cuenta por cuenta añadiéndolo manualmente.
