WebCam Genius Express V2



Hola, estoy intentando hacer funcionar mi webcam, una Genius Express V2.
Utilizo Debian Sid con kernel 2.6.7 compilado por mí.


He buscado por google en muchas páginas para ver que soporte tenía que activar 
en el kernel. Todos las entradas USB detectan si enchufo la camara, lo 
compruebo haciendo "usbview", pero me pone "dispositivo desconocido", o sea, 
que no tengo el driver adecuado, supongo.


Si hago "lsusb" me sale:

Si hago "dmesg | grep video" o "dmesg | grep cam" no sale nada.
Doy por hecho que he activado más cosas de las necesarias en el kernel, pero 
bueno.


Tengo instalado el paquete "v4l-conf".

El caso es que he ido a la página:
http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=1975
en la que se dan unos drivers para mi webcam, los spca50x. En estos drivers me 
informan de que necesito "v4l stuff" en el kernel tanto para 2.4 como para 
2.6, pero no encuentro dicha opción en mi kernel 2.6.7. 
Entonces hago la instalación del driver supuestamente sin problemas.
También me indican que tras la instalación, al hacer "lsmod, spca50x should be 
load with videodev", pero yo hago "lsmod" y no aparece nada al respecto.


En definitiva no logro que me detecte la camara.
¿Alguien sabe qué me falta? Muchas gracias.
