Mail del sistema... ¿qué significa?

Hola a tod@s... recibo continuamente el email que os adjunto debajo. He 
intentado ejecutar oo q recomienda pero se tira un buen rato y no hace 
nada o eso parece... ¿qué significa, cómo lo soluciono?... Por cierto, 
las X me funcionan  de miedo

On Tue May  1 12:52:18 2001, the user root was editing a
file named XF86Config on the machine shosha, when it was
saved for recovery. You can recover most, if not all, of the
changes to this file using the -r option to vi:

	vi -r XF86Config
