Leo del propio libro las siguientes reglas de modificación y
redistribución del mismo: 

"All modified versions of documents covered by this license, including
translations, anthologies, compilations and partial documents, must meet
the following requirements:

1.The modified version must be labeled as such.

      2.The person making the modifications must be identified and the
modifications dated.

      3.Acknowledgement of the original author and publisher if
applicable must be retained according to normal academic citation
practices.

      4.The location of the original unmodified document must be
identified.

      5.The original author's (or authors') name(s) may not be used to
assert or imply endorsement of the resulting document without the
original author's (or authors') permission.


 En resumen, que yo, Daniel Cabezas voy a dejar unos tarballs de la
version sin modificar, que se encuentra bajo la licencia "Open
Publication License", del libro "Learning Debian GNU/Linux" de Bill Mc
Carthy y publicado por O'reiily Associates, disponible para
descargar/leer en la direccion <http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/debian/>.
A día 13 de Diciembre del 2000. 


Tras la pequeña coña, creo que sería muy interesante traducirlo, yo
mismo me ofrezco voluntario a hacer lo que buenamente pueda.
Interesados, remitirse a la lista. La licencia es muy amplia en el
sentido de libertad de difusión, y creo que es la misma de las guías de
RedHat. También se permite la difusión comercial, siempre que se respete
el citar las modificaciones y copyrights originales. Así que,
básicamente creo que es "free"
