ppp-Problem
Hallo liebe Liste,
Irgendwelche Leitungsprobleme der Telekom haben gestern dazu geführt, daß
meine DSL-Leitung eine Zeitlang ausgefallen war. (Außerdem habe ich
versehentlich danach noch meinen Firewall-Rechner malkut bei Prüfen der
Kabelverbindungen neu gestartet)
Als die DSL-Leitung wieder funktionierte habe ich die ppp-Verbindung
mit /etc/init.d/ppp restart wieder gestartet und weil das nicht sofort zu
einem Ergebnis führte, muß ich (ich erinnere mich nicht mehr genau, kann sein,
daß da auch ein "pon" eine Rolle spielte) das wohl
mehrmals eingegeben haben. Jedenfalls klappte es dann schließlich und
ifconfig zeigte auch brav die Verbindung ppp0 an.
Soweit, sogut. Aber als ich die Logs seither sah, wurde mir klar, daß da etwas
nicht stimmt:

Diese Sequenz wiederholt sich ständig und müllt mir das Log allmählich zu.
Irgendwie scheine ich es geschafft zu haben, daß außer dem korrekten ppp0 auch
ppp1 bis ppp4 erstellt wurden, die aber natürlich keine Ethernet-Verbindung
haben und deswegen zu diesen Meldungen führen.
Jetzt müsste ich vermutlich irgendwie ppp1 bis ppp4 abschaffen. By the way: Es
handelt sich um ein lenny-System. Könnt Ihr mir eventuell einen Tip geben,
wie ich das machen kann?
