Danke für die Tipps. Onboard habe ich nur USB 1.1. Die PCI-Karte kann
2.0 - und der Drucker war zwar angeschlossen, aber nicht aktiv.
Dass die Platte dermaßen aussteigt, deutet für mich eher auf Probleme
des Controllers hin.
Ich kann mich aber erinnern, dass ich auch mit einer anderen Platte
schonmal ähnliche Probleme hatte.
An den IDE-Port kann ich die Platte nicht anschließen, da ich sie
aufschrauben müsste (Garantie!)
Danke für weitere Tipps in Sachen Tuning.
