Zugrif auf Onstream DI-30

Hallo Leute,

ich hab für ein "Danke Schön" ein Onstream DI-30 mit 6 Bändern bekommen.
Beim Booten von Debian Sarge wird es auch erkannt, aber ich bekomme keinen
Zugriff auf dieses Laufwerk, weder auf /dev/ht0 oder /dev/osst0.

Module wie ide_tape, ide_scsi sind geladen.

ein dmesg bringt folgendes:

ide-tape: Use drive hdd with ide-scsi emulation and osst.
ide-tape: OnStream support will be removed soon from ide-tape!
ide-tape: hdd <-> ht0: OnStream DI-30 rev 1.09
ide-tape: hdd <-> ht0: 990KBps, 64*32kB buffer, 10208kB pipeline, 62ms tDSC,
DMA

weiterhin:
