schau mal in der vimrc in /etc/vim/, ob syntax-highl. auskommentiert
ist. Eventuell ist auch ~/.vimrc ein Blick wert! Ich habe das global
in /etc/vim/vimrc gemacht, bei mir:

 syntax on
