KDE: ksmserver & ksplash crashen

Ich hab' seit gestern ein Problem, mit dem ich irgendwie nicht weiterkomme:
Beim Booten startet der kdm den Loginscreen, nach dem Einloggen in eine
KDE-Session kommt noch kurz der Splashscreen, dann die Meldung vom crashmanager,
ksmserver und ksplash seien abgestürzt.
Unter mwm lassen sich die KDE-Programme auch nicht starten, da kommt dann
z.B.

Beim Starten z.B. der Konsole aus mwm heraus kommt kurz darauf der
Crashmanager und meldet in der Rückverfolgung:

Ich hab hier eine Sarge-Box am laufen, dazu die offiziellen KDE 3.1.2-Pakete
von Ralf Nolden vom KDE-Server.
Weiß irgendjemand eine Lösung zu diesem Problem? Die meisten Pakete aus
kdebase habe ich bereits neu installiert, ohne Veränderung.
