kernels multiples
Bonjour,
Je suis sous Debian sur un pismo G3 avec un kernel 2.2.19
Je voudrais essayer d'autres kernels (pour avoir le son et le pcmcia).
sur http://www.ppckernel.org/ , on peut lire
Each tarball contains a kernel (vmlinux), System.map, and set of modules.
Put simply, you need to place the kernel and System.map in /boot, and
the modules in /lib/modules/VERSION. A basic installation might look
something like:
gunzip linux-pmac-*.tar.gz
tar xf linux-pmac-*.tar
cd linux-pmac-*
mv vmlinux /boot
mv System.map /boot
mv modules /lib/modules/VERSION
Est-ce vraiment aussi simple ???
N'y a-t-il pas de fichiers à sauvegarder avant, en particulier sous debian
???
Et si je veux revenir à mon ancien noyau ???
Y-a-t'il moyen de garder plusieurs noyaux et de choisir au boot ???
