Error when using dselect

Hi,

I have downloaded the 2.1r2 version and when
I come to installing in dselect/apt/ftp I get a lot
of the error:

'The size of the file is not what I expected. ERROR ......'

I have checked the files and the size is right as far as 
I can see.

Most grateful if somebody can tell me what to do.
