Installing Staroffice 5.0 on slink

I am having some problems installing Star Office 5.0 on my slink system.

Okay, I understand that Star Office needs glibc2, It appears that my
system is running glibc2.1
Is this normal? How do I get around this without overwriting my existing
libraries.

I get the folowing error message when I run the setup script:

ERROR: setup system check failed:

        ld-2.0.7.so library not found
        libBrokenLocale-2.0.7.so library not found

        libresolv-2.0.7.so library not found

StarOffice 5.0 uses the new glibc2 (=libc6).
The libraries above could not be found.
