New Window Maker breaking some character input?

Hi!

I recently installed new WM from potato (Version: 0.53.0-2). With the
previous version (0.5x.something), I could type characters (ccaron,
scaron, ssharp and similar), but after the install of the new one, I
cannot do that anymore.

Now the characters simply don't show up, but I can still see them in a
document already written. Obviously it is not a font problem :-]. I
don't remember installing any other X-related thing at the time.

Oh, I'm talking about writing things in an editor in rxvt and I also
tried netscape...

I use us keyboard layout (programming) and those characters are binded
to alt_gr+c = ccaron, al_gr+s=scaron, alt_gr+b=ssharp etc... Is it
possible WM is "catching" Alt_gr so it doesn't even come to the
rxvt/vim?

Here are a few lines from Xmodmap:

keycode 30 = u U 0x0fc 0x0dc
keycode 32 = o O 0x0f6 0x0d6
keycode 38 = a A 0x0e4 0x0c4
keycode 39 = s S 0xB9 0xA9
keycode 52 = z Z 0xBE 0xAE
keycode 54 = c C 0xE8 0xC8
keycode 56 = b B ssharp
keycode 64 = Alt_L Meta_L
keycode 113 = Mode_switch
add Mod1 = Alt_L
add Mod2 = Mode_switch
keycode 122 = Mode_switch

This is somewhat weird, but I'm not the one who wrote it and it used to
work before...

I can supply any other configuration files upon demand. That would be
the contetnts of ~/GNUstep, since I haven't changed any system wide
defaults.

If someone has a hint...

bye,
